In response to the call for papers, we have received 27 good quality submissions in total - 23 long and 4 short - with a nice distribution of interest from the UK, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, France, Germany, Sweden, and India. The results will be announced by October 8. We are also opening a call for posters, which is due by October 4. [08/30/09: Important dates]
Please note that due to requests from authors we have extended the deadline for submission of full and short papers to September 10th. We are also opening a call for poster papers on late breaking results to be submitted as 1 page papers until October 4th. [07/13/09: Committees and symposium dates changed]

Selected papers will be hosted at a special issue of the Journal of
Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (JBCB). Additional
publications are currently under discussion and will be announced.
